- الـ (إكس 1) لديه حفرة واحدة مُخبأة في قاعه لربط الـ dovetail التي تستخدم مسامير صغيرة من 1/4-20.
- وينبغي أن يُدرج دبوس موقوف في حفرة غير مقصودة أمام حفرة متحركة مخبأة لمنع الكاميرا من التلويث أثناء استخدامها.

- If a gap exists between the dovetail and camera body, a small washer or soft-sided velcro on the dovetail can eliminate vibration issues.
- Using a dedicated metal mounting plate between the camera and dovetail provides added protection against damage to the camera's threaded hole assembly.
- A bare EX1 operates at the lower weight capacity limit of the Flyer stabilizer.
