• The CW-5HD works with the Epic camera when connected to the video output and produces usable signals without glitches during high-speed recording.
• Firmware 1.3.0 eliminates spurious frequency appearances on random channels that occurred when the transmitter was initially powered on.
• The CW-5HD does not properly handle true 24FPS video signals despite supporting 1080p/23.98PsF and other standard formats.
• The CW-5HD achieves transmission range of 200 to 300 feet outdoors on an open backlot with standard equipment.
• The CW-5HD performs poorly in RF-dense environments like casinos where signal reflections interfere with picture lock.
• Firmware updates must be performed by the manufacturer rather than downloaded for home installation.

• Practical experience described is limited to episodic television and feature film production, not live broadcast work.
• Performance comparisons with competing systems like the Boxx Meridian are based on limited day-player experience rather than extended use.
• Outdoor range testing was conducted on a specific film studio backlot and may not represent performance in other RF environments.
• The warranty implications of third-party antenna modifications are unclear and warrant confirmation with the manufacturer.
• The discussion does not address whether newer firmware versions maintain or resolve the FCC-compliant transmission power limitations.
