• Steadicam vests with adjustable strapping can accommodate operators with waist sizes in the 44-46 inch range and heights around 6'2" to 6'3".
• The Zephyr vest provides significant adjustment range and comfortable fit for larger operators compared to older models like the Flyer or Pilot vests.
• Vest manufacturers can provide guidance on sizing and may offer custom measurements through their service departments.
• Vest fit capacity typically reaches limits around US men's 48-50 waist sizes depending on the model.
• Shoulder width and build shape affect vest fit more than weight alone, and adjustable strapping can compensate for body variations.
