ما توصّل إليه النقاش
- The Switronix Wireless HD system operates at a transmission range of 150 feet and is priced between $2700 and $3500
- The Switronix unit accepts only HD-SDI input, which limits compatibility with cameras that output composite video
- Film cameras can be equipped with HD video taps by manufacturers like Arri and Panavision to provide HD signal output
- A budget alternative using a Peerless HDS100 multimedia transmitter can achieve sub-1-frame delay performance at approximately $400, supplemented with additional converters to reach a complete solution under $2000
- The Peerless HDS100 supports HDMI, component, and composite video inputs, enabling compatibility with both digital and analog camera signals
- The Peerless HDS100 operates at 12 volts and 2 amps power consumption, requiring a properly rated voltage regulator when powered from battery systems
- Transmission range of the Peerless HDS100 is approximately 140 feet according to manufacturer specifications
- The Peerless HDS100 supports multicast capability, allowing simultaneous connection of multiple receiver units from a single transmitter
يعتمد على
- 150-foot transmission range may be insufficient for certain shooting scenarios
- Switronix unit lacks composite video input, requiring external converters for analog source compatibility
- Peerless HDS100 requires custom power cable assembly with appropriate voltage regulation for typical film production battery systems
- Budget solution requires assembly of multiple components and may demand modification of the transmitter unit
