• The same situation exists for Betz Tools, whose successor 2eyetec operators struggle to reach. Two established suppliers of this small field are effectively unavailable at the same time.
• The aftermarket that has grown in their place is made of individuals rather than companies: independent workshops rebuild and overhaul sleds and top stages, and one operator publicly offers to get first- and second-generation arms running again for owners who could not obtain parts. These people are found through word of mouth, not through a directory.
• For anyone buying used equipment this changes the calculation. A monitor or an arm from a manufacturer that no longer exists is worth less than the same item from a supported line, and the difference is the cost and uncertainty of the next repair.
• Before buying, the question to ask is not only what condition the item is in but who can still service it, and whether the parts that wear are still obtainable from anyone at all.

• Based on operator reports from 2026. No statement by the company itself was quoted, and the legal status of the business was not established in the discussion.
• The situation may change: a successor may take over service, and other repairers may exist who were not named.
• No contact details or prices for the independent repairers are recorded here. They were offered privately in the discussion.
