• A steadicam operator in a film production used an asymmetrical twohanded grip with one hand at the gimbal and one hand lower on the center post to achieve shot stability.
• Unusual operating postures may compensate for imbalanced or misconfigured rigs but can create physical strain and limit the operator's ability to move smoothly through space.
• Arm configuration mismatches between the rig design and the operator's body side can contribute to awkward positioning.
• The final shot quality depends on the overall result rather than adherence to conventional technique, and unusual methods may produce acceptable footage if the setup requires it.

• No visual confirmation of the final shot quality or whether it was deemed acceptable by the director and production team.
• The specific camera model, arm configuration, and weight distribution of the rig are not fully detailed.
• The observation is based on a single behind-the-scenes video from 2010 and may not reflect the operator's standard practice.
• Some participants speculate about equipment limitations without confirming the actual setup constraints.
