Panavision

With the Panaglide, built from the mid-1970s, Panavision produced the direct competitor to the Steadicam®. It was used on films including "Days of Heaven" (the first Panaglide film) and John Carpenter's "Halloween". The Panaglide triggered a rivalry with Cinema Products.
