ما توصّل إليه النقاش

• The Preston HU2 handset is compatible with an MDR2 receiver when both units have G3 boards installed
• G4 boards only work with HU3 and MDR2 single channel units, not with HU2
• A G3 board can be installed in a single channel HU2 unit to enable compatibility with compatible receivers
• A board from an MDR2 cannot be used in an MDR1 receiver because these models use different transmitter hardware
• Preston stopped manufacturing and selling G3 boards, though used boards may be available from people upgrading their equipment

يعتمد على

• The compatibility information is specific to these Preston models from around 2013
• G3 board availability is dependent on the secondhand market rather than direct manufacturer supply
• The exact technical reasons for incompatibility between MDR1 and MDR2 boards are not detailed
