Was die Diskussion ergab

• A wireless video system intended for on-set monitoring can experience single-digit dropout rates over extended shooting periods.
• A 12-frame delay in wireless video monitoring can be managed operationally if the director and crew are aware of the delay and rehearse scenes accordingly.
• Audio delay can be independently addressed using a separate audio delay device to keep director cues synchronized with video transmission.
• Some operators consider a 12-frame delay unacceptable for director positioning and real-time shot monitoring regardless of workarounds.
• Operators with established analog microwave systems may retain them for situations requiring frame-accurate synchronization such as multi-camera live broadcasts.

Hängt ab von

• Experience reports are from individual operators with specific workflows and may not apply universally.
• The 12-frame delay issue remains contested among participants with no consensus reached.
• Specific technical specifications for the system were not detailed in the discussion.
• The feasibility of delay compensation depends on director experience and scene rehearsal time.
• Suitability varies by application type, with live broadcast work potentially having different requirements than narrative features.
