Was die Diskussion ergab

• The Boxx Atom was announced as a smaller transmitter option featuring two antennas compared to the Meridian's four, with an estimated price around $6,000 and potential range of 50-100 feet at 1080p.
• Newer Camwave models incorporated updated AMIMON chips similar to those in the latest Boxx systems.
• The Boxx Meridian uses four external rubber duck antennas plus a receiver antenna to improve transmission integrity compared to PCB antennas used in competing systems.
• Some users reported Boxx systems required significant antenna replacement costs during extended rental periods.
• The Transvideo Titan LT appeared unlikely to reach market in the near term based on available information.
• Used Boxx systems occasionally became available at prices approaching new Camwave costs.
• Power amplifiers for antenna arrays were identified as a potential next development to extend transmission range.

Hängt ab von

• All information comes from NAB 2011 announcements and user reports, making it outdated for current equipment evaluation.
• The Boxx Atom pricing and specifications are based on announcements, not final retail products.
• Limited user experience data available for some systems mentioned, particularly Transvideo products outside North America.
• Transmission range figures are estimates rather than independently verified specifications.
• Some discussions mix rental performance with purchase cost-benefit analyses that may not apply to different use cases.
