I am looking for 2nd hand Omega AR so I can send it to OS to modify to OS360
MK-V
7 postsMK-V is still building equipment. The newest unit is the Level, a considerably better and lighter further development of the Betz Wave. The contact details on the manufacturer's website point to Great Britain.
As most of you are probably aware, we have released our most recent product; the OS 360 Mono. This is a modification of the existing MK-V AR system. I\'ve posted some pictures, and a full description below of all the new features and what is to be included in each kit.Everything between the two rings is replaced with our new lighter and smaller components. All the brand new electronics are designed and assembled in house and utilise our existing systems developed from our OS 360 Trinity upgrades. The core of this design is to have everything at your fingertips, while our app is useful, it is better to be able to have access to all the necessary parameters you need to execute the shot with speed and efficiency. Main Electronics housing. This contains all the electronics and cabling inside, it is also stronger and shorter than the original. This means that the camera weight sits lower towards the sled. Camera clamping plate and IMU housing. This is again more rigid and houses an IMU under the cameras position. This will communicate through the slip ring to the main board, meaning the system will always have reference to the cameras position. This allows you to programme and execute specific commands such as ‘Go Home’ or any amount of rotations at specific speeds and softness etc. Slip ring power junction. The slip ring allows you to carry power, video signal and data between the sled and the camera while rotating freely. This gives you the freedom to execute multiple rotations without the worry of cable management. Ergonomic Thumb Control. This allows you to command the head to roll in either direction. Paired with electronic limits you can easily land on 0 and feather the movement comfortably. You also have access to a speed adjustment slider, and 4 programmable function buttons to execute any desired move at any time. 12V twinned brushless motors. These are attached to the ‘drive side’ with a new gear. This system is extremely punchy and very quiet - with zero backlash between the gears. Adjustable belt tensioner. This is attached to the ‘idler side’ with a new gear. This allows you to quickly release the belt from its tensioned position, making it easier when you need to balance the camera. Adjustable Dial. This is located on the side of the head, and can be assigned to a custom parameter. For each demo we have assigned ‘acceleration’ which decides how quickly the head starts and stops from its electronic limit. This means that on the fly you can change how softly or how abruptly the 360 hits home. IOS App. Through our IOS App you can control all the major functions of the head and thumb control; Speed, Softening, Electronic Limits, Custom Commands, Motor strength etc. This connects to the head through built in Wi-Fi. Custom Cable Package. We will supply a full cable package with every upgrade. These are usually right angle and much smaller than usual for a tidy build. We can make any custom cable for any sled application. As with all of our products, we have access from the ground up and welcome feedback and experienced opinion. Like our OS 360 T1 modification, listening to our operators and adjusting and releasing new features is at the forefront of this new design and how we intend to move forward. If you have any questions do let me know, I am happy to take any photos or make more videos.

Preview of the MK-V AR3 from BSC 2025!
Here is a quick update on the MK-V Level from BSC 2025! The design has been modified, allowing the level to be used in low mode as well.
Hello everyone,Please note: When creating group-specific posts, such as for ARRI or MK-V, make sure to select the respective group as well.Thank you!
VHello everyone, the MK-V gimbal is a marvel. It has been built from scratch for the Volt, and it’s a very well-done piece of work. Personally, I’m not surprised—MK-V and XCS are, in my opinion, the best gimbals on the market. I’ve been using it for two months, and it’s precise and smooth, like a knife through butter. I recommend it 100%.Since MK-V already has the measurements for the Artemis2 post when manufacturing my gimbal, delivery times won’t be very long.Cons:I’ve known MK-V for 20 years, and the brothers have always been chaotic, but their gear is fantastic. If you have a bit of patience with them, I recommend it without hesitation. Cheers!
