Terms of Use

1. Who runs this

SteadiHub is operated by SteadiParts GmbH, Buchenweg 10, 85232 Bergkirchen, Germany. Full details are in the Impressum. By using the forum or the app you accept these terms.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members. You may not post, send or upload anything that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates another person
• attacks or demeans people because of ethnicity, origin, religion, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation or gender identity
• is sexually explicit, or sexualises minors in any way
• glorifies violence or encourages self-harm
• is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights
• is spam, a scam, or a deliberate misrepresentation of a sale
• is another person's private data published without consent

4. Reporting, blocking and what we do about it

Every post, comment, message and profile can be reported from inside the app, and you can block any member so their content disappears for you and they can no longer message you. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours. Where a report is justified we remove the content and, depending on severity, warn, suspend or permanently remove the account. 5. Your content stays yours

You keep the rights to what you post. You grant us a simple, non-exclusive right to store your content and show it inside the forum and the apps, for as long as it is published there. If you delete your account, your posts and comments remain in their threads under “Deleted member” so other people's conversations stay readable. Ask us if you need a specific post removed as well.

6. Paid plans

The forum is free to use. Two optional paid plans are available:

• Supporter — 6.99 EUR per month, including VAT
• Company Profile — 49.99 EUR per month, including VAT

A contract comes into effect when you complete the payment step and we confirm it by email. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. Both plans run for one month and renew automatically for another month unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current month — there is no minimum term and no notice period. Cancel in Settings, or use Cancel a contract, which works without signing in.

If we change a price, we tell you at least six weeks before the change takes effect. You may cancel until that date; otherwise the new price applies from the next billing period.

7. Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you are a consumer in the EU you have fourteen days to withdraw from a paid plan without giving a reason. The full notice, including the model withdrawal form, is on the Right of withdrawal page. If you ask us to start the paid features immediately, you owe a proportionate amount for the period already used.

8. Marketplace listings

Where the forum shows equipment for sale, the contract is between buyer and seller. We are not a party to it and we do not guarantee that a listing is accurate or that a sale will complete.

9. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the service running but cannot promise it is available without interruption. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only where an obligation essential to the contract is breached, and only up to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract.

10. Ending it

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms. German law applies; if you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Munich.
