Was die Diskussion ergab

• Die Canon EOS 7D wird mit minimalem Zubehör mit nur einer Batterie ausgeliefert, was für längere Drehtage möglicherweise nicht ausreicht.
• The camera uses a Stereo AV Cable connector (AVC-DC400ST) instead of standard AV plugs, creating compatibility issues with external monitors.
• HDMI output from the 7D cannot be used with certain external monitors without a cross-converter, limiting on-set monitoring options.
• A single battery can be depleted quickly during production, causing significant delays when charging is needed between shots.
• Production teams lacking proper adapter cables (such as USB to mini USB) may be forced to operate without external video monitoring.
• Inadequate pre-production communication and preparation time between production and camera departments directly led to equipment compatibility failures and lost shooting time.

Hängt ab von

• This account reflects a single operator's experience in 2010 on an unspecified production setup.
• The specific lens configuration (f5 wide-angle, f1.4 100mm) and lighting scenario described may not apply to all shooting situations.
• The lack of preparation appears to have been a production management issue rather than a camera limitation.
• No technical specifications are provided about the external monitor model or why HDMI could not be utilized.
