- Color reproduction on this model resolved previous issues some users experienced with skin tones on older Small HD monitors.
- The front polycarbonate screen protector supplied with the monitor is less reflective than the optional glossy clear cover.
- An AB battery plate can be attached to the back and provides power directly without requiring additional cables.
- The monitor supports multiple recording formats and includes a LUT system for live grading on Log feeds.
- The built-in SD card recording function was not yet activated at the time of these reports but was expected to be enabled within a couple of months.
- The device has a noticeable boot-up time before it becomes operational.
- At 7 inches, the monitor is considered an appropriate size and weight for portable field use.
- The menu system is described as intuitive once learned and offers extensive customization options.
