A single cable cannot be dual-voltage: one cable carries either 12 V or 24 V, and using a dual-voltage cable in 24 V mode would destroy 12 V accessories connected to the sled.
Many sled accessories such as the SmallHD 703 monitor, Teradek, and Preston systems are dual-voltage, but this does not change the fundamental principle that the sled power cable itself must be dedicated to one voltage.
A workaround is to use a Gold-Mount sandwich plate with 4-pin XLR input, allowing the camera to be powered either from a sled-supplied cable or independently from a camera battery, with external charging at the dock.

Solution depends on whether the operator prefers sled-based power distribution or independent camera power with dock charging.
