A stuck fore-aft adjustment on a Steadicam® TST-2 can be resolved by removing the top plate.
Gentle manipulation of the internal components after plate removal can restore mobility to the adjustment mechanism.
Relubrication of the adjustment mechanism after freeing it is recommended to prevent recurrence.
