2015Video Assist and Video Accessories forum

The Eclipse 500 HD Transmitter maintains signal range comparable to the Bolt600 model, with signal loss occurring around 250 meters in tested conditions.
The transmitter performs cross-conversion, allowing input on any port to be output as either SDI or HDMI regardless of input type.
Battery plate options are available for powering the unit using Sony V-mount or Gold Mount batteries.

Testing was limited to a single unit.
The range test was conducted in unspecified conditions with no details on environment, antenna setup, or other factors affecting propagation.
It is unclear whether both HDMI and SDI outputs can operate simultaneously when an SDI input is provided.
Specific pricing and discount amounts for the group order were not disclosed in the public discussion.
