Using GH4 camera with Pilot stabilizer monitor via composite video connection

What the thread found

The GH4 camera's composite output only functions during clip playback and cannot be used for live monitoring during recording
HDMI output from the GH4 can be converted to composite video using a dedicated HDMI-to-composite converter box for approximately twenty dollars
Newer HDMI-to-composite converters can draw power directly from the camera's HDMI output, eliminating the need for an external battery but consuming significant camera battery power

Direct composite cable connection to the camera does not work for live monitoring
