Comparison of wireless video transmission systems: Paralinx Arrow, Nyrius Pro, and IDX CW1
12 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.
What the thread found
- Paralinx Arrow offers more frequency options and dynamic frequency selection compared to competing systems
- Paralinx Arrow supports both single receiver and multi-receiver configurations
- Paralinx Arrow features more antenna elements than some competing models
- In a field range test, Paralinx maintained clearer signal quality and more saturated video output at approximately 300 feet distance compared to a competing system at 240 feet
- Paralinx offers accessories including HD-SDI modules, power cables, and HDMI cables
- Cost is a significant differentiator between wireless video transmission systems in this category
Depends on
- The range test involved only two systems being directly compared in a single scenario
- The test was conducted at a specific location and may not represent performance in all environments
- Only one user's subjective assessment of video quality differences is provided
- No technical specifications or measurements are given for the IDX CW1
- The claim about antenna count differences mentions only two systems
