What the thread found
- Stackable riser-plates (blue plates from a Steadicam® accessory maker) with matching hex screws are recommended for height adjustment, with a two-plate kit costing approximately USD 250.
- Two plates typically suffice for most cinema cameras, while RED V-Raptor may require four plates for proper height.
- Riser-plates are most useful when pairing Venice or ARRI ALEXA Mini without SAM-2 on a Trinity; RED cameras are often already tall enough, while DSLRs typically need additional height.
- The same riser-plate principle works on a standard Steadicam® camera plate.
Depends on
- The number of plates required depends on the specific camera model and its height.
