Hyperdeck Shuttle incompatibility with Decimator 2 HDMI output
12 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.
What the thread found
- The Hyperdeck Shuttle may not recognize video input from a Decimator 2 HDMI output even when the Decimator works with other HDMI devices.
- Setting the Decimator 2 HDMI output to 1080p60Hz can cause compatibility issues with the Hyperdeck Shuttle, but switching to 1080p29.97Hz or 1080i60Hz may resolve the problem.
- HDMI scaling must be enabled in the Decimator 2 control panel via USB connection to a computer for proper functionality.
- The Hyperdeck Shuttle may not accept 25p format video but will accept 25psF or 1080i output from the Decimator 2.
- The Decimator 2 draws approximately 0.84 amps at 12V, which can significantly drain portable battery systems faster than expected.
