What the thread found
- The SI 2K 3D Sync Box has 8-pin Lemo connectors with reversed polarity on pins 1 and 2 compared to Pro Style 8-pin connectors.
- Connecting a Pro compatible monitor to the SI 2K 3D Sync Box can damage the monitor due to the reversed polarity.
- Cinetronics monitors include reverse polarity protection and will function correctly when connected to the SI 2K 3D Sync Box despite the reversed power polarity at the input.
Depends on
- The compatibility and damage risk may be specific to certain monitor models.
- The claim about Cinetronics reverse polarity protection was not independently verified in the thread.
