- Cinetex (UK) specializes in full professional refurbishment of Steadicam® vests, including the Klasse and PRO models, with consistently positive feedback from operators after rebuild.
- Original Exovest padding comprises a foam layer bonded to a memory-foam layer.
- One operator considered sourcing aviation-grade foam material cut to specification, though this approach remained untested.
Depends on
- Cost of professional refurbishment is substantial.
- Availability and lead time depend on the refurbishment shop's workload.
