Pinout configuration for Seitz 8720A receiver DB9 connector and 8725A servo amplifier 4-pin Lemo connectors
22 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.
What the thread found
- The 4-pin Lemo connectors on the servo amplifier use pin 1 for +12V power supply (red wire), which connects to DB9 pin 7 on the receiver
- Channel 1 Lemo pin 2 connects to DB9 pin 5, and pin 3 connects to DB9 pin 3 for ground
- Channel 2 Lemo pin 2 connects to DB9 pin 8, and pin 3 connects to DB9 pin 3 for ground
- Channel 3 Lemo pin 2 connects to DB9 pin 9, and pin 3 connects to DB9 pin 3 for ground
- Pin 4 on all Lemo connectors is not connected
- Motor control on the DB9 connector uses pins 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9
- Double gauge wiring should be used for the +12V power connection when making cables of significant length to handle current draw
