Adding a rear-facing monitor to a Steadicam rig for improved situational awareness

A small LCD monitor can be mounted on the back of a Steadicam sled to allow the operator to see where the rig is moving without constantly looking over their shoulder.
Three-inch LCD monitors are suitable for this purpose and weigh very little.
Small LCD monitors of this size are bright and sharp enough for monitoring video signal output.
Mounting a monitor to a Tiffen Ultra sled is feasible with minimal modifications.
