Weight capacity and stabilization performance of the Glide Gear DNA 1000 with a Canon 60D
13 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.
What the thread found
- The Glide Gear DNA 1000 can carry a Canon 60D but with minimal headroom, leaving approximately 12 grams of spare capacity.
Depends on
- The assessment is based on a single user's experience with the rig, and no detailed specifications about the original weight configuration or additional counterweights were discussed.
- The suggested weight specification appears to be the limit for the stabilizer's design, though the feasibility of adding custom weights was not conclusively tested.
- Performance expectations are low for budget-tier stabilizers of this type.
