Modular support system (Exo-Bridge) with foam and air cushions to improve comfort of the Steadicam® Exovest under heavy loads.
What the thread found
- The Exo-Bridge system for the Steadicam® Exovest provides support across the front between hip and torso as well as at the back, with exchangeable foam densities.
- An accessible air-cushion pump allows the operator to adjust support in the lower back according to payload and shooting technique.
- Early testers report significantly improved endurance with heavy builds and long takes; some Exovest users who had considered selling their vests remained with them after trying the system.
- One operator cited pressure problems of the Exovest at the hip under high load as motivation for purchasing the Exo-Bridge.
- This entry is based primarily on manufacturer-provided information and tester feedback, which may not be independent.
Depends on
- Comfort improvement may vary depending on individual physiology and rig weight.
