Telescoping center posts for Flyer kites

20 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.

What the thread found

A UK-based optical support company has successfully built and flown a telescoping post with a stripped-down XL Flyer model.
Telescoping post extensions can be mounted on a dovetail using repurposed monopod components combined with adjustable quick-release plates.

Depends on

The optical support company's design details and images are no longer readily available online.
The monopod-based extension approach appears to be experimental with uncertain results at the time of posting.
