BNC output connector at base of Steadicam rig not functioning
13 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.
What the thread found
- The BNC connector labeled HDSDI at the base of the rig connects to the HDSDI line at the top of the rig, not to the Video line which goes directly to the monitor
- Signal output depends on which line the input is connected to, so connecting the same signal to both lines is necessary to get output from both connectors
- Intermittent video signal loss on a monitor connected to the HDSDI output at the rig base can occur when using external camera sources
