What the thread found
- One operator uses the Atomos Shinobi 7 (2200 nit) as a Steadicam® monitor with satisfaction.
- A Nitze cage was the only model found with center-threaded side mounts suitable for CamJam or rod clamp attachments.
- Recorder-monitors introduce significant latency: on top of the camera's native 1–2 frame delay, recording monitors can add up to 6 additional frames depending on the model, which becomes problematic during action sequences.
