Availability and pricing of Lumavec Blackbird monitors in the US market around 2008

18 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.

What the thread found

Lumavec monitors were being sold in the United States through a distributor.
The Blackbird model featured a daylight-visible display with military-grade coating.
A mounting bracket compatible with standard PRO spigot mounts was available from a third-party manufacturer.
The Blackbird monitor package with framelines was priced around 4000 USD.
A re-housed version using different internals was available at approximately 8000 USD.

Depends on

Information is from 2008 and may not reflect current availability or pricing.
Specific performance details and specifications of the display are not discussed.
The mention of a re-housed version lacks clarity on which components were replaced or upgraded.
