The level display bounces back and forth on power-up when there is no valid level input signal present.
Level controls are integrated into the monitor itself, but the level function requires an external sensor box positioned near the center post to operate correctly.
The external sensor box was not yet available at the time of this discussion, making the level feature non-functional.
Disabling the level display is a workaround until the required external sensor becomes available.

This issue and solution apply specifically to the Cinetronic Gen II model.
The external sensor hardware was still in development at the time of this post in 2013.
The discussion does not confirm whether the sensor was eventually released or if the issue was fully resolved.
