F35 camera downconverter and auxiliary power outputs

17 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.

What the thread found

  • The F35 includes an NTSC output that may be configurable rather than preset to NTSC
  • A 12-volt 11-pin Fischer connector is located on the camera side and should not have more than two devices connected due to fuse limitations
  • A 24-volt 3-pin Fischer connector provides power only when the camera is supplied with 24-volt input, but functions as an on/off control without 24-volt power
  • A 12-pin Hirose connector on the front is not standard but has been added to most cameras in use

Depends on

  • The NTSC output configuration may vary depending on how the camera was set up when received
  • The 12-volt Fischer connector has a non-replaceable fuse that limits power draw
  • The 12-pin Hirose connector was not included as original equipment
