The forum interface update removed automatic navigation to the first unread post when clicking on a topic, instead always opening at post number one
Clicking the blue dot or star icon to the left of a post title navigates to the first unread post as an alternative method
The hover preview feature on the main forum page includes a 'View latest unread' option when hovering over previously visited topics
Special characters and apostrophes display as corrupted text on Android phones and tablets
Post links on the right side of the forum page are non-functional in Internet Explorer but work in Chrome and Firefox
The 'Mark all posts as read' function is still available at the bottom of the page next to the RSS logo
Email notifications for new posts now display the posted content directly, eliminating the need to load the forum website to read the message

These issues were reported in 2012 following a major forum interface redesign
The special character corruption issue was reported as potentially resolved after the initial update
Internet Explorer link issue only affects post links on the right side of the main forum page
The workaround for navigating to unread posts requires an extra click compared to the previous functionality
