Kino Flo Kamio ring light pricing and what components are included in different kits
20 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.
What the thread found
- The Kamio fixture itself is sold separately from essential operating components including the ballast, four-pin XLR cable, and fluorescent tube
- A complete basic Kamio kit with two lights and two rings plus barn doors and dimmer pack costs around 1200 USD
- Purchasing from US retailers and paying import tax to the UK still results in lower total cost than buying from UK dealers
Depends on
- Prices quoted are from 2006 and no longer current
- UK pricing comparison is anecdotal rather than systematically researched
- Discussion does not specify which exact Kamio model variants were compared
