Rebalancing handheld camera stabilizers when switching between small lenses

What the thread found
- Even small lens weight changes require some rebalancing of a handheld stabilizer to maintain proper center of gravity over the support post.
- When switching between similarly weighted small prime lenses with weight differences around ten grams, only minor adjustments to the top stage fore-aft position are needed rather than repositioning the camera body itself.
Depends on
- The discussion applies to small C-mount prime lenses weighing approximately half a pound each.
- Specific stabilizer models mentioned are older designs from the early 2000s era.
- The experience is limited to camera models used at that time.
