Discrepancies in Archer rig specification documentation regarding arm compatibility
14 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.
What the thread found
- The Archer product pages contained outdated information reflecting earlier configurations with G40 and G50 arms
- The G40 arm was originally sold with Archer rigs but was discontinued after customers preferred pairing with the G50 arm
- Current rigs are supplied with the newer G50X arm, which represents the updated product standard
- The G50 and G50X arms share identical lift capacity, with G50X providing improved movement performance
- The price list page shows the accurate current specifications for what customers actually receive
Depends on
- The thread does not provide dates for when the product changes occurred
- No technical specifications or performance metrics are given beyond lift capacity
- The response is based on second-hand explanation rather than official company documentation
