• The Skipps Engineering Modular Preston MDR Bracket allows mounting an MDR unit directly under a camera mounting plate.
• The Modular mount clamps onto 19mm rods and works with smaller diameter rods when equipped with reducer bushings.
• To mount the bracket on an Alexa handle, an ARRI 235 Utility Rod can be screwed into the handle via its internal 5mm allen key, then used as the mounting point for the MDR bracket.
• 1-2-3 blocks can be used in combination with the Modular mount to position accessories in various configurations.
• When using this bracket setup, MDR connectors may need to be rotated to accommodate the installation geometry.
