Mounting a Cinetronic II monitor on an Archer 1 sled yoke

14 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.

What the thread found

  • Any monitor equipped with a professional spigot connection can be mounted on a Cinetronic monitor yoke.
  • A telescoping post bracket was being developed to accommodate Cinetronic Gen 1 or Gen 2 monitor yokes, with custom post sizing available at the time of order.
  • The telescoping bracket for Cinetronic monitors was noted to be stiff and prone to accidentally engaging low-mode during operation.

Depends on

  • The discussion from 2012 describes equipment under development with uncertain release timing.
  • No successful Cinetronic II installation on an Archer 1 sled had been completed at the time of discussion.
  • The Archer 1 yoke in this case was a custom-fabricated rig that might not accept standard professional spigot mounting solutions.
