Analog follow focus receiver unit stopped responding to wireless signals
What the thread found
- When a backup receiver unit fails to respond on any channel but the transmitter and motors work fine on another receiver, the receiver board itself is likely faulty.
- A receiver board can be easily reseated by opening the unit if it has come loose from its socket.
- A faulty receiver board can be replaced as a straightforward maintenance operation that takes only a few minutes.
Depends on
- This experience is specific to analog BFD follow focus systems.
- The diagnosis process required swapping out all other components to isolate the receiver as the problem.
- The suggested fix of reseating the board was not confirmed to work in this particular case.
