16 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.
What the thread found
- The motor is manufactured by machining from solid material, then EDM wire cutting, hand polishing, and black anodizing.
- Motor shells are produced in pairs and kept matched throughout manufacturing, with serial numbers engraved internally to ensure proper alignment of polished halves.
- The motor is compatible with Preston equipment.
- The follow focus system includes a redesigned motor and receiver, plus an updated transmitter with a new knob, side pointers, and a body thickness reduced by approximately 15mm.
Depends on
- The thread does not provide detailed specifications like motor type, voltage, torque, or compatibility with other systems beyond Preston.
- The final product features and availability were still being finalized at the time of posting in 2010.
