Baseplates for VCT and broadcast cameras on XCS Top Stage sled
What the thread found
- The Zalex Longplate mounts directly into the sled's dovetail, reduces vibration, and eliminates the need for a separate VCT baseplate; cost is approximately 300 USD.
- The CamJam Railway plate with rods replaces the heavier Sony baseplate and works when lateral adjustment is not required.
- A lightweight Cam-Tec Sony baseplate can mount directly into the Top Stage or be combined with the XCS-LTE-3 baseplate.
Depends on
- Solutions depend on whether lateral camera adjustment is necessary.
