What the thread found

• When routing HD SDI from a Canon C300 through an AJA KiPro Mini to external monitors and recorders, on-screen display elements generated by the camera appear in the KiPro Mini's recording output.
• Disabling the camera's HD on-screen display prevents those overlays from appearing in the KiPro Mini's recording.
• Marshall monitor-generated elements like horizon indicators do not appear in the KiPro Mini recording because the signal flow goes from camera to recorder to monitor, making it theoretically impossible for monitor-generated graphics to reach the recorder's input.

Depends on

• The user reported this behavior happening despite the physical signal flow making it seem impossible, and the issue remained unresolved even after consulting with technical support.
• No resolution or explanation was provided in the thread.
• The user promised to provide video documentation of the issue but follow-up results were not included.
