Wexler-branded transmitters are OEM units based on 1.2 GHz analog technology with adjustable output and channel selection
These transmitters can transmit video reliably over 100 yards in outdoor environments with low interference
The units exhibit minimal latency, functioning at the speed of light constraints for practical purposes
Reception performance can degrade significantly in RF-dense environments such as urban areas with buildings and casinos
Video quality issues including dark signal output were associated with initial unit specifications but were addressed in later production
Camera settings such as component versus composite video output selection can affect receiver signal strength
Newer 1550 model units offer digital adjustment, additional channels, and finer tuning compared to earlier 1450 versions
Performance varies substantially depending on environmental RF interference and proper equipment configuration

Testing was primarily conducted outdoors in low-interference environments
One user reported poor performance on soundstages and indoors, but cause remained unclear
Early production units had documented signal quality problems that were later corrected
Analog signal susceptible to interference and multipath reflections in RF-dense or indoor settings
Receiver without diversity implementation experiences signal dropouts when objects move between transmitter and receiver
Discussion indicates uncertainty about exact technical specifications and manufacturing details of specific units encountered
