Function of dual locking mechanisms on Steadicam Zephyr monitor and battery posts
What the thread found
- The two smaller knobs on one side of the Steadicam Zephyr are pin heads that pass through grooves in the monitor and battery posts to hold them in fixed positions
- The smaller pins can be removed and reinserted into different grooves along the posts to allow repositioning of the monitor and battery assemblies
- The large knob on the opposite side serves as a master lock that secures both posts simultaneously
Depends on
- Information based on the Steadicam Zephyr model specifically
- One participant was uncertain and indicated they would need to verify the information on their own equipment
