Transport cases for Steadicam® Trinity 2 Super Post: Storm and SKB case models with custom foam options.
Note (as of October 2026)Curt O. Schaller, the developer of Artemis and Trinity, has no longer been with ARRI since the end of 2025. To our knowledge, ARRI currently has no dedicated team and no official contact persons for its stabilizer systems. In our view, the future of this line is uncertain. If you are buying new, get written confirmation from ARRI beforehand on how long service and spare parts are guaranteed. Have used rigs checked by the manufacturer before you buy.
What the thread found
- A Storm Case IM3410 has been used successfully to transport a Trinity 2 Super Post.
- Custom foam inserts can be made by case manufacturers to fit the Super Post, allowing the case to accommodate multiple posts (standard, shorty, and extenders) in one unit.
- An SKB iSeries 4909-5 rifle case can be modified with custom cutting to hold a Super Post, regular post, shorty post, and two extenders.
Depends on
- Recommendations apply to Trinity 2 Super Post; compatibility with other Steadicam® models not confirmed.
- Custom foam fit depends on individual case manufacturers' capabilities.
