Zephyr gimbal handle connection loosens and requires recurring tightening

What the thread found

  • A connecting screw between the handle and gimbal can back out completely within days of use despite tightening
  • Tightening the screw too firmly causes the blue connector piece to bind and prevents smooth movement
  • Finding the correct tension balance leaves residual play in the connection even when adjusted properly
  • Purple Loctite applied to the screw can prevent it from loosening again during use

Depends on

  • The issue may indicate a missing spacer or design flaw rather than normal operation
  • The solution using Loctite was suggested but not confirmed to fully resolve the recurring loosening problem
  • Only one user perspective provided without confirmation from others experiencing the same issue
