Wireless iris control options for Preston FIZ and HU hand units
What the thread found
- Single channel Preston wireless controllers cannot provide remote iris control across different wireless system generations
- Iris control on original Preston FIZ systems requires a hardwired cabled remote connection
- A digital Bartech controller can serve as an alternative iris control solution for FIZ 2 systems
- Single channel controllers work with G3, G4, and G4 blue dot wireless systems only within the same generation
Depends on
- The discussion concerns older Preston models from around 2017
- No wireless iris control method was identified for original FIZ 1 or non-G3 HU2 systems
- The Bartech solution was only confirmed for FIZ 2, not necessarily other Preston models
