12 years old. Gear and prices may have changed since.
What the thread found
- Swit A/B mount batteries are significantly cheaper than genuine Anton Bauer products
- Swit batteries do not charge properly on standard A/B chargers and require a dedicated Swit charger
- The Swit charger is an affordable accessory compared to A/B chargers
- Swit 88Wh batteries from 2005 can power a Transvideo HD6 monitor for approximately 4 hours
- Swit 190Wh batteries from 2007 can power a Grass Valley 300 camera, follow focus, and Gigawave transmitter for over 2 hours
- Swit batteries can be charged with third-party chargers such as Bebob chargers
- An alternative option is the PAG L96E battery which is available in multiple mount types and offers good reliability at lower cost than Anton Bauer
