Adjustment knobs on ZEPHYR arm are difficult to turn
What the thread found
- The blue adjustment knobs on the ZEPHYR arm become easiest to turn when the arm segment is positioned nearly parallel to the ground, approximately 5 degrees above horizontal.
- To find the optimal knob-turning position, adjust the boom angle up and down until the knobs twist smoothly without requiring force.
- The adjustment knobs should be tested with the sled and camera already mounted on the arm to accurately assess their responsiveness.
- Forcing the blue adjustment knobs with tools or excessive strength should be avoided to prevent damage.
Depends on
- The sweet spot position may vary depending on the specific arm setup and configuration.
- Difficulty turning knobs in other positions may indicate an underlying mechanical issue with the arm.
